The process of casting out demons is God’s desire to deliver man from the yoke of oppression and captivity from the hands of evil.
Many people are mentally harassed, physically and emotionally tormented by the adversary. Natural weapons will not help us in our fight with unseen, spiritual enemies. Because of God’s great love toward us, He has given us authority and power over the enemy to flee, command negative thoughts to be cast down in the mighty name of Jesus the Christ of Nazareth. However, before you can resist the devil, you must first submit to God. What does that mean, to submit to God? That means obey His teachings, His promptings, His Leading, His direction for our lives.
So, we must make a decision to be obedient in every area including our thought life. People must be honest, repentant, and of a contrite heart, ready to be delivered.
